Nominator's project description
| Professor Canfield is well-known internationally for his seminal contributions to the discovery, synthesis and science of new materials with exotic electronic, magnetic and superconducting properties. Among his mayor achievements is his work on the superconductors nickel borocarbides, magnesium diboride and iron pnictides. During his stay in Germany, he intends to continue his research on novel superconductors. |
